Lovely to hear from you Lucinda. Our garden is waking up, slowly slowly, its beautiful to watch, the return from winter. Thanks for the podcast suggestions, always great. Take care, Kate
Thank you Kate, and you’re very welcome - glad you enjoy them! I’m currently on the hunt for a good audiobook to take the place of podcasts for a while, I’m just way too fussy when it comes to the ‘right’ type! Enjoy the unfurling of winter to spring x
I well remember the intense compression of time and activity with young children….. so good you can still remind yourself to watch the seasons turn and transform.
Our children are now all adult and off in the world - but it’s still pretty intense sometimes. lol.
Anyway - what have I noticed?
Three days ago we had our first morning of sun after a week of rain, and the wind backed north and warm, the sun came out, and at midday the Water Dragons appeared for the first time after their long cold weather sleep. There they were - sunning themselves on the river bank.
An hour later, I heard the first croaking of our Green Tree Frogs - they too had awoken, on the very same day!
I’m going to attempt to get somewhere with my embroidery, to get onto my next book and get to bed earlier while we still have some chilly and cosy evenings xx

And then the Rainbow Lorikeets arrived.
My delight was complete….
