I love the word 'lush' to describe your deep winter bush landscape. What a wonderful escape, enjoy the Grampians.

Oh Greens Bush. It has my heart too.

We are off to the Grampians in a few weeks as part of a family road trip holiday. Any tips for great nature walks whilst we are there?

Oh my goodness, amazing, you’ll have such a wonderful time! I have so many recommendations I wouldn’t know where to start! I would suggest heading to Brambuk Cultural Centre in Halls Gap for all the information you will need to choose the walks that suit your crew. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We’ve been 6 times in the last 5 years and still have countless things to do. Enjoy x

Beautiful writing!

The greenhoods have emerged in WA - we’ve seen them out and about for a few weeks.

Thanks Monique! I haven’t seen any yet, but they do take a while for the eye to find them when they first emerge!

Beautiful, Lucinda. I love your observations and the leaning into the deep winter. I wish I was able to attend the webinar with Jane. I’m looking forward to reading her book when I get back.

Thanks Meg :) The Island webinar was recorded, you can find the link to it if you scroll down to the prize section here: https://islandmag.com/submit

Hope you're enjoying your residency, it looks beautiful.

Oops I just thoroughly confused myself, and probably you too, after realising the link I had shared in the post was the Australia Institute webinar, not the Island mag one that I attended a couple of weeks ago! Nevertheless you might enjoy that too! And the Australia Institute ones always end up on their YouTube page so I'm sure you can catch up on that one when you're back too.
